The first in the Hogg, Shain and Sheck three-part “Managing for Growth 2013” seminar series took place on March 6th at the Delta Toronto East Hotel and drew a great crowd of participants.

The seminar was called “Global Trends 2025: The Changing World Order” and was led by Dr. Carlos Rizowy, political analyst for BBC and National Public Radio, former chairman of the political science department at Roosevelt University, and co-author of the book Latin American Business Cultures.

Attendees had the opportunity to network with industry professionals over breakfast prior and after the speaker’s presentation.

Dr. Rizowy engaged attendees as he explored how global trends create opportunities through discussion of changes, and conflicts affecting the world presently and in the future. With a focus on North America, the Middle East, and Africa, he spoke about growing international tension and Western influences, and shared his predictions on world changes occurring by 2025.
