Every year the Alumni Awards Night is a beautiful celebration for the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) Alumni and their outstanding achievements. This evening recognizes all alumni and hosts an awards of distinguished alumni across Canada and internationally.

The TRSM Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor of the night, it recognizes an alumnus who has significantly impacted the reputation of the TRSM, and fellow alumni through excellence in professional, community and personal endeavors. This years, the award recipient was Edward J. Scheck.

Ed is a graduate of Ryerson University (1970) and the University of Akron (1971). He received his CPA, CA designation, and in 2006 became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

As an active alumni, Ed continues to support the TRSM at Ryerson University through his involvement with the Campaign Cabinet, as an initial donor to the TRSM Advancement Centre and as a student employer. Ed’s contributions extend further, as a speaker at the annual, three-day Ted Rogers Management Conference.  Ed dedicates his time to supporting lifelong learning. As a member of the business advisory committee for the TRSM, Ed dedicates his time to monitoring graduates and attending alumni events held at the school.

Congratulations Ed for this very noble achievement!
